Skiing and riding just got even better for Military Epic Pass Holders. New this year, Vail Resorts is introducing Epic Friend Tickets: a major perk that lets friends of Pass Holders ski for 50% off lift ticketsat any of the company’s 37 North American resorts all season long.
Epic Friend Tickets replace and upgrade the former Buddy Tickets benefit, offering deeper discounts and more flexibility. Here’s how it works:
- Military Epic Pass Holders who purchased before April 14, 2025, receive 10 Epic Friend Tickets
- Pass Holders who purchase after that date receive 6 Epic Friend Tickets
- Friends who redeem a ticket can apply the cost of one ticket toward eligible 2026/27 Epic Passes – offering double savings this season and next
In addition to this news, Vail Resorts has also just announced that Epic Pass prices will be increasing after September 1, so now is truly the best time to purchase an Epic Pass for the lowest price with these amazing new perks! Men and women who serve or have served our country can currently purchase a special Military Epic Pass starting at a rate of $190for the 2025/2026 season with a discounted rate for families.
